Hi, Do the file contain any PivotTables? If this file contain PivotTables please refer to this support article: Do you try to open the file in safe mode? I suggest you open it in safe mode running the following command: Press Win + R, type ' excel /safe' in the blank box, press Enter. If it works fine in safe mode, please check the add-ins in your excel and disable them. Click File Excel Options Add-Ins on the left side of the dialog. Then click the drop-down arrow at the bottom of the dialog box and select 'COM Add-Ins' from the list, then click the GO button.

What comes up is a list of COM-Add Ins that are loaded and running. I also suggest you try to change the file format from.xlsx to.xls and check the result. I have developed a code for writing and reading excel file in Open XML. Downloading a.xlsx file gives 'We found a problem with some content in 'FileName.xlsx'.Do you want us to try to recover as much as we can? If you trust the source of this workbook, Click Yes'. On clicking 'Yes' button, it displays content. I am able to open the file after it is repaired and the data seems to be fine.Error shows for both Open and save options.
But after repair data is still there. I am using Windows 8 and Office 2013. Please let me know if there is anything I need to do. Any help appreciated.
In my case, it's only getting upset if one of the percentages is Zero. It doesn't like '0%'. I've been searching for an hour, since the Excel error makes no mention of what was being repaired. After your comment, I checked my sheets and tried a few and noted that after the 'repair', there were three cells with the little red tick on the corner, all of which had 0% in them. I ran a sample report with those three lines omitted, and.poof. it went right in with no error popup. Now to see if I can get it to also 'like' this same file via email!
Lol Appreciate your time to post this helped me a lot. I was not sure I was going to find this without reverting to a PERL spreadsheet generator to get a later version for the latest excel. If you never think outside the box, you'll never get out of that cubicle.
